Olson Earthworks LLC was founded in Granbury, Texas by Steven Olson, a veteran who spent years building experience in excavation, demolition, and land clearing before deciding to do it on his own terms. The business is built around three services that often go hand in hand — and a commitment to doing the work right without overcomplicating it.
Steven handles the business and operations side of things: estimating, client communication, project coordination, and making sure every job is set up for success before equipment ever hits the ground. His partner Tristen is the operator, bringing years of hands-on equipment experience to every project. He’s the one making sure the machines are dialed in and the work on the ground gets done right.
Together, they cover both sides of what it takes to complete an earthwork project from start to finish.
Our three core services are excavation, demolition, and land clearing. We handle site preparation, grading, and dirt work. We tear down residential and commercial structures. We clear land — using forestry mulching, traditional methods, or a combination of both, depending on what the site calls for. On many commercial projects, all three services come into play in sequence, and we’re set up to handle each phase without the client needing to bring in multiple contractors.
Most of our work falls in the $10,000 and up range. That’s not a hard rule, but it reflects where our equipment and crew capacity are best put to use. We’re built for larger-scale work — multi-acre commercial sites, significant structure teardowns, and projects that require real coordination between services.
Granbury is home. We know Hood County and the surrounding area well, and we serve a roughly 100-mile radius that covers the Weatherford, Granbury, Stephenville, Burleson, and the communities throughout Northern Texas and surrounding areas. For the right commercial project, we’ll go further — we’re not afraid to mobilize with our full crew and equipment when the job makes it worthwhile.
